" When I paint, I feel a sense of purpose. I have a sharp focus and a clear mind. I express my most essential thoughts more clearly with paint on canvas than with words. The process of creating my art is important to me, and thus I work with my hands, my eyes, my heart and my mind - without the use of photography. I wouldn't want to do it any other way. "
